Subway Surfer
Subway Surfers is an "endless running" mobile game co-developed by Kiloo, a private company based in Denmark and SYBO Games. Launched in 2012, "World Tour" is the theme of the game, wherein capital/most populous cities in each country like New York City, NY, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Sydney, Australia, Rome, Italy, Tokyo, Japan, Miami, FL and Paris, France have been featured till now.[1] Available on the iOS and Androidplatforms, the game features three default characters; Jake, Tricky and Fresh as they dash and dodge trains to escape from the grumpy inspector and his dog.
The objective of this game is to run as far as possible in an endless game world by avoiding randomly generated obstacles that require the player to either jump (slide finger forward), duck (slide finger backwards) and dodge the oncoming trains in a precise manner. For the first four weeks of each World Tour edition, an "Item Hunt" is featured. The player will have to collect a certain amount of these "Special Items" each week, in order to obtain prizes, such as keys, hoverboards, and powerups. The "Special Item" changes in accordance with the location of the game. For example, inMiami, the special items were miniature Flamingos, in Paris, they were tiny Eiffel Towers, and in Tokyo, they were small Geisha women.
Subway Surfers: Halloween Special was the game's first special edition, released in October 2012. This was followed by Subway Surfers: Holiday Special. World Tour series started with Subway Surfers World Tour: New York, which was released in January 2013, followed by Subway Surfers World Tour: Rio releasing in February 2013. The next version was Subway Surfers World Tour: Rome, which was released in March 2013, followed by Subway Surfers World Tour: Sydney in April 2013. Then there was Subway Surfers World Tour: Tokyo, released in May 2013, followed by Subway Surfers World Tour: Miami, released in June 2013, followed by Subway Surfers World Tour: Paris, which is the latest version released July 2013. The next destination is going to be Boston for August 2013, however the destination after Boston is unknown, but the most talked about are London, England; Dubai, UAE; Las Vegas, NV; Los Angeles, CA; Lima, Peru;Casablanca, Morrocco; Cairo, Egypt; Prague, Czech Republic; Mumbai, India; Monte Carlo, Monaco; São Paulo, Brazil; Fond du Lac, WI; San Francisco, CA; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia;Barcelona, Spain; Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Moscow, Russia; Hong Kong, China; Chicago, IL; Singapore, Singapore; Lisbon, Portugal; and Nairobi, Kenya.
